VolumeWatcher
FOMO/FUD Volume & Trend Sentiment
Most sentiment indicators guess at crowd psychology from price alone. VolumeWatcher takes a different approach: it reads sentiment directly from volume — the clearest signal of real conviction behind a move — across both raw and Heikin-Ashi smoothed layers, at the same time. An optional trend-strength layer (modified ADX) adds context on whether a move still has room to run, or is running out of steam. No trading signals. No price predictions. Just a clearer read on when the crowd is extreme — and when it isn't.
Introduction
VolumeWatcher started as a simple question: why do most sentiment tools ignore volume — the one thing that actually shows conviction behind a move? Every signal combination behind this indicator was tested and refined on real market data before publishing. No black box, no vague promises — just a clearer read on crowd behavior.

How to read the panels
| Signal | Raw | Heikin-Ashi |
|---|---|---|
| Sell / negative threshold | Red | Purple |
| Main line | White | Blue |
| Buy / positive threshold | Green | Yellow |
When the main line crosses above the upper threshold, that's a FOMO reading — extreme buying pressure.
When it crosses below the lower threshold, that's FUD — extreme selling pressure.
A signal only counts when the line is on the right side of zero and breaks the threshold — this built-in double condition filters out noise.
On the trend panel, the same colors and logic apply — but here they describe the strength and persistence of the trend, not price extremes.

FAQ
How fast do I get access?
We're currently in a short signup phase before opening payments. Once payment is live, access is typically granted within 24 hours of a successful payment — make sure to include your exact TradingView username in the signup form, we can't grant access without it. We'll email you as soon as it's ready.
What if I want a refund?
Once payments open: 14-day, no-questions-asked refund from the date of purchase. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime — cancellation stops future billing, and you keep access through the rest of the month you've already paid for. Refunds after the 14-day window are only issued if we're unable to grant access — for example due to a technical failure on our end, or an incorrect TradingView username that couldn't be corrected after we reached out to you.
Does this work on any market?
Yes — crypto, stocks, futures, forex, and CFDs, on any timeframe with volume data. On forex/CFD instruments, it uses tick volume as an approximation, since true traded volume isn't available there.
Is this a trading signal service?
No. VolumeWatcher doesn't predict price and doesn't tell you when to buy or sell. It highlights when volume and trend behavior reach statistically extreme levels — context for your own analysis, not a replacement for it.
